Motus Lab has extensive skills and experience in the design and development of embedded microprocessor based systems. We can offer the following services and products.
Design and DevelopmentWe can provided our customers design and development services on either a project basis or a time basis. Project based quotation can be provided where the project is a known entity. Time based quotations will be employed for projects which are difficult to scope at the outset. Electronic design is performed using the latest computer-aided-design software tools covering schematic circuit design, simulation and PCB layout. Software design is performed using graphical design tools, followed by coding using specialist software tool chains. These are generally specific to the microprocessor or microcontroller that has been used in the design and may be provided by the semiconductor manufacturer or a third party. Prototyping Testing and System IntegrationDependent on the complexity of the construction, prototyping may be performed in-house or out-sourced. Following the build, the software and hardware are brought together and integration testing performed. The final part of the development process is to ensure product conformance to the relevant legislation. This is typically be conformance testing by an external accredited test house. Technical ConsultancyThis can be provided to customers who require specialist technical input in the automotive test equipment arena. A typical use of this service would be to provide a technical review of a product or system. Charges will be based on an hourly rate plus expenses.
